Everton have built up a decent side now, they've got some very good buys, especially in defence. Their back 6 would most proably be:

------------------Phil Nev------------------

Nuno Valent-----Yobo----Kroldrup-----Ferrari

------------------Martyn------------------

That's a pretty good basis imo.

and with legend Pistone on the bench :p

Theyve left it late in the summer, but I too think Everton have made some excellent moves. Van der Meyde, I think, will prove to be an excellent buy, and Neville has already started to pull his weight. Everyone already knew how good Arteta and Cahill were, so given all that, I could easily see them cruising to a UEFA cup place

yeah, i'm anticipating a good battle between Tottenham and Everton (and possibly Liverpool) for the 4th and 5th spots.

Too bad Naysimth doesn't start anymore. Dazmania, I think that you forgot to mention Boro there and Bolton who just beat West Ham.

well yeah i was about to mention Bolton with Borgetti and Nakata :rockman: although i think both Bolton and 'boro will find this season very hard and i can't see them seriously challenging up there with Spurs and Everton without some more depth to their squads.

Fulham got a result today, but they'll collapse. I hate watching them play so I wouldn't regreet their relegation.

what do u guys think of the hammers so far?

i think we will stay up and have easily bought the best players out of the three promoted teams!

Does anyone get surprised now when Chelsea conceed?

Sorry, couldn't care less for Chelsea at the moment, still in shock at 4 unbeaten games at the start of our season. I mean, second place? Us? Mind you, the aussies are getting licked in the cricket (and the soccer, and the netball, and the rugby, and the tennis....) so something is absurd with the world at the moment.

They look decent but it will need survival for consecutive seasons to get the West Ham of 2002/2003.

:(

Some things are still the same, like the All Blacks peaking 2 years before a world cup. :rockman:

And the All Blacks dominating the game but the scoresheet saying something else.

I think that West Ham will finish 16th or 15th this year.
