pressing doesn't burn the hell out of you as much as physicality. With the speed and energy Bayern has, it is much easier to play in the Bundesliga than the EPL. Bayern would definitely lose more points in the EPL.

Arnautovic Bojan Shaqiri looked like MSN against City. (H) nah seriously, they played a great game and I miss Bojan, when he's 100% he's killing it in EPL.

Typical you. You reply with one-liners without expressing yourself. Fuck off to the Barca thread.

I'm so active there, you're right.

I guess your reply is technically more than one line, but I'd say mine was still much more effective and correct.

They'd drop a couple more points, maybe, but not as many as the other EPL teams drop comparitively to the challenging Bundesliga teams hence the cakewalk, Dortmund would win the EPL and aren't even close to Bayern

Chelsea would have 10-15 more points if their games were officiated without preconceived notions from referees and officials, plus a lot more momentum

Mourinho post-game presser will be fun (H)

Won't say anything, they're giving him stadium bans now which actually effects his job not like a fine

Klopp has been saying it, in a nice way, more or less since he got to England: yes they players run their asses off and are big and strong, but they are comically inefficient. The game is up and down constantly in England, but the teams don't score any more goals than other leagues. This kind of tactically inept, as Mus stated, attacking would fall directly into Pep's hands. In fact, it IS falling into Klopp's hands. It's all too easy for someone who has had to deal with much more efficient scorers and disciplined defensive teams in Germany.

So the PL teams might be "more physical", but they are worse at defending as a team because of general ill discipline (with the occasional Chelsea or current United teams aside), and they are less efficient in front of goal.

But again, keep denying this. Liverpool will be 4 points behind United by tomorrow night. Their next 6 Premier League opponents are Newcastle, West Brom, Watford, Leicester, Sunderland, and West Ham. Let's see how these supremely physical, outstanding mid-table, English teams do against Klopp.

The fact that teams don't score more than other leagues doesn't mean anything because you can't compare leagues by how many goals are scored.

EPL teams may be more tactically inept (I fully agree with this statement) but they use physicality to make it tough to score goals. Players who use their speed as their main strength like Gervinho, Depay, Di Maria, Cuadrado etc struggle in the EPL because they don't have space to run.

I understand your point but I disagree. Playing against physical teams week in week out exhaust you and you go through strings of poor form. Bayern would win the EPL but it wouldn't be easy to not drop points.

And btw, Man U's defense has been pretty solid and organized this season. They are far from "ill-disciplined".

We can't score unless its a penalty or a fluke these days. I am pessimistic about this game. I'd be surprised if we win.

Oh and tits.
I think in terms of physicality PL is more difficult due to the refereeing but its hard to deny that Buli teams do run themselves to the ground. I'd have to agree with Shifty that PL teams are inefficient but its also down to circumstances they have to deal with which are out of their control like the refereeing allowing pointless aggression on the pitch. That is very hard to deal with, week in week out, and also be tactically, efficient.

Arsenal, for example, are tactically more than good enough but don't have the perfect balance-due to players- and fail to deal with the physical challenges all the time.

Pl need to get into modern times and deal with the refereeing issues, imho. There is absolutely no need to allow pointless powerplay.

With that said, Wolfsburg are going to knock you out of the CL.

Probably, and my only hope is Moscow upsets PSV in Netherlands

Also, Liverpool or Spurs will catch us in EPL very soon ...
