Terrible storms here in the North island. The match has been rained out for today, and it doesn't look good for tomorrow either. The carpark at Eden Park must be flooded by now.

I doubt we'll get much action in the Test series either. March isn't the best time to be playing cricket in New Zealand.

England vs W.I.

India can easily win the cup if they play to their potential.

Shikhar Dhawan is in some wicked form at the moment. Top scorer in the tournament. Ambati Rayudu has been a bit of a disappointment though. They were really hyping him up as the next big thing a while back.

I'm quite sure that we could see some of the players from this team in senior team in near future.I'm specially impressed by Suresh Raina.Ambati rayudu is good too.Irfan Pathan has already made in senior team.

Yeah let's hope some of the guys from the Under-19s can make the step up to the first-team. Good to see the spinners doing well - we could use some at the moment.

Actually the opener Robin Utthapa was my class mate, and i think even Dravid was impressed by him(Dravid's from my school).

Utthapa can keep wickets. Just hope he starts to play like i know. Smashing the ball to all parts of the park

Rayadu is not playing the semi. :( Got a 1 match ban for slow over rate or something

Imagine the captain, and can't play a semi and that too against Pak. How sad:(

Heated words being exchanged between Graeme Smith and Stephen Fleming at the start of the South African innings.

South Africa are chasing a total of 194 in 33 overs, but the rain is coming in once more. Chances of play continuing uninterrupted are slim.

Here's a thread that needs to be brought back. Anyway, England are playing the West Indies at the moment in a small test series in England and OMG did Robert Key kick ass! 220 for the guy who's hardly played international test cricket. What a pair of finds we have in Strauss and Key. True, this W'Indies side is far below par but I think think England are playing very well. Just a shame the tail crumpled so hard. The W'Indies replied with a decent 400, but England have a decent lead going into the second innings, and I fancy us to win and keep goings where we left off after that thrashing we gave New Zealand.

then what is this hoo-harr about the US in the ICC 'mini world cup'? (champions Trophy) you know, the one that was last played in Sri Lanka and India and Sri Lanka drew the title due to rain.

Should be a good match. Thankfully the ICC has learnt its lesson from the last tournament and kept the matchups between the big teams for the last round. Hopefully we can beat the Pakis this time around. See you Aussies in the final(H).
