yeah.... in the lokeren v man city match(watched highlights)... this fan sitting in the lokeren fans section.... celebrated when man city scored a penalty of a blatant wanchope dive..... the fan is a man city fan.... the next is that he gets beaten up by the lokeren fans around him... uefa might probe....

Well he isn't the brightest crayon in the box, but the reaction of the lokeren fans was disgraceful.
I felt a rollercoaster of emotions when I saw the footage of this. When I first saw the wanchope dive I was utterly disgusted, he should be charged. But when I saw that fan being beaten by all them other fans I was saddened. And the thing that saddened me more was that the security was right under him, but they just pushed him back into the crowd utterly ignoring him. Absolutely inhumane. I tried to imagine myself in that situation, having to leave the stadium with all those people attacking me.

It's normal in Europe (Poland anyway, but I'm sure in other places too) that you get your ass kicked if you openly support (scarf, jersey, etc.) a team and then bump into a group of fans that hate your team. I don't like it, but that's how it is I'm wouldn't start a fight with anyone, but then I wouldn't hide my feelings either.

hide your feelings? you hate another person because of what team they support? this is just a game that is taken way to far and should be something that you watch to get your mind off everyday life not get the **** kicked out of you

It is the fan's fault, he shouldn't have travelled there and sit in between all Lokoren fans. Hell, I would kick him a couple of times too if I was a fan of Lokoren.

That's just sickening. Resorting to violence is never the answer to show your fustration or anger. Why can't they just be civil about it and show some common decentcy?
because wanchope dived..... sumtimes its not the crowds fault but the opposing players and refs.... lokeren fans wouldnt attack the man citrus fan if man city scored a true goal.... so i hope that lokeren fans would also suggest to uefa that wanchope had played a part.... wanchope should be ban longer than rio....

Oh puh-leease. Wanchope's dive was nothing less than a disgrace. He so blatantly lunged into the air it was sickening. I'm sick of hearing people carry on and on about Ronaldo. The guy's 18 years old and weak. He's still growing so what do you expect huh????? Wanchope is a man. He can hold his ground, but you try being a teenager in the roughest league in the world eh? Try standing after being tackled from 6 feet tall 200 pound men. How well will you fair huh??? Ok then can it.
