what a fight, what a series, this show has been the best thing on TV this year, in the UK we got the result literally 30 seconds ago, originally wanted alfonso gomez to win but when he went out i wanted sergio to win and he did. :hit:

The Contender finished last month here. it wasnt very well received but I loved it.

I wanted Alfonso and Jesse for the finals though :(

whoops sorry man, good fight tho still watch it. I heard they might bring out a dvd boxset of it? maybe in america? and that they cuit it from nbc or abc i dunno , but they need a new network to show it. This show was amazing i wanna see another series definatley

Where you live^? It was started by NBC or w/e with Sylvester Stallone as a reality boxing show, I never really cared for it.

yeah, that's why I liked it. it was boxing competition in primetime. and the reality part ws just showing the boxers with their families which added a nice touch so you ca sympathise with the boxers (Y)

I loved the Series, i wanted Peter Manfredo to win from the begining. But Sergio was on a different level mentally to everybody else in the tournament, despite physically not being the best. I hope they do another series.

The Contender sucks. They don't even show the whole match. That's why it got cancelled.

Ultimate Fighter is where it's at. Season 2 starts August in North America. I think season 1 is still airing in the UK.
