hi Rinaldo. i asked in a diferent thread, now i belive reach to the right place.

i put faces in the game with "Championship manager 08". when i put more than 3-4 faces, the game exit to windows in the middle of the game. if i put a lot of faces (20 & more) the computre shot down in the middle of the game.

i tryed to use "FileM08". the same problem.

somebody told me to delete the temporary files of the fifa at my documents folder. that's what i did and it helps a little but the problem continues.

i read now about 1g or 2g but didn't understand. i have some faces with 1g files and 2g files but almost all the faces have only 3 O files.

what can i do? i'm desperate

Hi friend, I don't think I can help you a lot, btw this is the situation: for FIFA 07 we found a list of tournament id that was "damned". I mean the tournament was perfect but the game crashed: tis list included 76 and 88 that in FIFA 08 are instead used by standard tournament. CM08 still warns them as "damned" though probably they no longer are. In addition this year we discovered that every tournament with id = 15 + 16 * N is going to conflict with friendly matches. So the tournament works fine if you do not play friendly matches but if you do, FIFA 08 crashes.
The problem you describe seems to be something different but I can't figure out the reason.

It just a weird glich in the game or something. If anybody has the same experience, please let me know, then I can at least feel that it's not just me or something screwed up on my machine or my OS, but it is the game. It is preventable somewhat if people just change the tournament id for those leagues.

But i do have a question. What causes Master to say "conflict with friendly matches"? Because it seems weird that it would do that with a league that came with the game.

mean for example 31, 47, 63, etc..... right?

The weird thing is that the irish league is id 88, and doesn't work with that equation. and the other league was the turkish cup, which is id 76 and does not work with that equation, so I don't understand why creation master would see it that way. Or is that just the replacement thing for the tournament is damned?

But it does enable me to make it work if I change the tournament id for those two leagues. It just it would be a pain for everybody to have to do that.

Were you able to repeat the problem?

Maybe you have reached the fifa.fat limit. There are some tricks to increase it and also a patched fifa08.exe that removes the limitation. Browse this forum to fid.
To my knowledge, to mix 1G and 2G faces is prone to crash but only after the substitution of a player with another one.
I strongly recommend to have 2G face and 1G hair as the original game supports.

Please I need help. I am spanish. I don´t know how to import new faces in fifa 08. And Add faces for players who don´t have face in the original game like Bojan (Barcelona), and add a new face for players who had a face in the original game like Messi. Please, anyone can help me??

When i finish first of the season or second i'm in Champions league but if i win a national cup i'm the next season in champions league and uefa cup!
It is possible to don't have this problem?

You have to eliminate the fact that domestic cups qualify for the UEFA cup. This is the only way. I haven't checked, but I think the game comes that way. EA should really change how the tournament structure works.

here's my problem;
i used CM08 to import some kit images and change the name of a team. now, when i try to start a quick match using that team, all the roster slots are empty, and if i try to start it crashes. in CM all players are still assigned to the correct team. any help would be appreciated, and sorry if this issue has already been addressed.

Select the player and open the face tab. Check the 3D view, load the 3D model first, then load face and hair textures.

Donovanfan gave you the right answer, you need to change the qualification rules of the tournaments. No other way.

CM08 is incompatible with internal FIFA editing, I guess you have a D.MySquad file and you need to remove it.

But we test in original fifa when you are qualifing for the champions league you can't qualify for uefa cup. And we have put new league and modify national cup but not qualifing for uefa cup and there's this problem i can't understand where is the problem!!

Hello Rinaldo, I created a tournament for Rest of World and it automatically uses that half world half soccer ball banner...

I've gone to the Country and League pages in CM08 and changed the graphics but that half world half soccer ball keeps showing up. Can you tell me where this graphic is stored so I can change it? Much thanks in advance.
