Many patch makers are experiencing crash problems when a new tourament is created and some friendly matches are played at the beginning of the season. I have studied the problem and I think that there is a list of tournament id that conflict with the friendly match and should not be used:
The following is the list of the "Damn Tournament Ids" at the current state of my understanding:

47
63
79
95

Do not assign these id to any tournament and let me know if this solve your problems. If this is the solution I will release un updated version of CM08 very soon.

Dear Rinaldo maybe you can fix the problem with the Stadium import function.
( if i import a stadium (cmp) i can only see the data base name not the in game name )

im using mogolos greek superleague patch and for some reason i cant use it in manager mode but other people can. cant figure out why.

when i choose a team the game crashes.

EDIT: i found the problem the greek league tourney had screwed up somehow and had teams form differnt leagues which shouldn't be like that. and clicked "get teams form league" and fixed the problem and it it works now.

but i still got thee face problem

still dont know why but i still have problems with face importing. i import a face bad games crashes when i try to load game with the players on the staring XI if they are on the bench it loads fine and when i sub them on its fine.

i tried using MD's rebuilder ad a couple other rebuilders but still same thing i cant seem to figure out why. oh also when i crate a new player for some reason his face and miniface has a players face i created as default.

maybe your faces are in 2gk put the face texture in 512x256 but the hair texture change the resolution to 128x128

It might be worth pointing out that others in this sequence (any tournament id in CM08 that is one less than a multiple of 16) may also give problems if there are also league competitions in the same block (ie. from two less than the multiple of sixteen down to the previous multiple of sixteen) and one of those leagues is the primary competition of the manager's team. You don't even need to schedule pre-season friendlies, the game will delete all team_lookup table entries that start with the problem ids which will almost certainly cause problems down the line.

Just to give an example of one problem career that I've seen, the primary competiton would have had a CM08 tournament id of 129 (although it was not actually created with CM but with UniD but there was also a competition with a tournament id of 143 (one less than 144, which is a multiple of 16) and it was that tournament id that had its entries expunged from the manager mode copy of the team_lookup table.

When I get the time to organise my thoughts and find a way of expressing the general rule regarding RTSG numbers (which are all handled under the covers for CM users) I will make a new thread with the gory details, but my leisure time is short at the moment so it may be a few days.

i am having trouble importing some fifa 07 stadiums - i load the cmp, click import, it takes some time to import - but - after that the stadium doesn't show up in the stadium list. it's assigned to a not used #id, but still not showing up. what's causing this? i'm pretty new to CM so it seems i can not figure it out myelf

hi, i change the bad id tournaments and make a taste of the new leagues added and the problem continue.
and the end of the second seasson the game crashes but only when i choose the same team to continue the manager mode. the game crashes in the moment after the screen of friendly games in the moment of loading the next seasson the game crashes in 80% loading.
A provitional solution that i found its make a friendly match and then the game dont crash and i can play the 3th seasson with the same team, but only choose the friendly match dont playing it couse then game crashes, in that way i can play the 3th season but the problem persist in the 4th seasson and in this time the trick of the friendly match dont work
When i change of team to continue the next seasson the game load perfectly to the 3th year and more

you have an idea what is the problem now?

great tool! but i have a problem... when i win a tournament for example the ucl or la liga when it must show the trophy it just show a mising texture image... it only happen when i edit something with cm 08 like kits or other graphics.

There are a whole raft of potential errors in that FIFA.DB but the obviously applicable problem is that the top eight teams in the '1o Division Mexicana' all qualify (via the move_to_rtsgt value) to a competition that doesn't exist

Is there a way you can change the weather conditions in manager mode. Like with most leagues the league games and played in the day by default, but would it be possible to make them be played at night by default?
