I need a help.
when I Click on the FIFA08 Logo at the desktop,it shows me an error.
and I edited some leagues(updated prometed teams),kits,transfers, and logos.
That's it!
I don't see any reason that one of that action destroyed my FIFA.
please,if somebody knows what to do,help me.

expand database, download fifa-bigfat.exe, owerwrite fifa 08.exe, try it out . possible you are out from database fat. capacity

This may be the wrong thread but I don't know where else to put this. My zdata*.big archives are too big, and I was told to use File Master 08 to move some files into a new archive, so that it wouldn't exceed the limit and thus not crash my game. Can someone please PM me step-by-step instructions on how to do this? I just installed File Master 08 and am not familiar with it. I know each zdata archive must only have 500 files - but I think I have far more...can someone please give me instructions? When I double click the archive, I get a big block of gibberish and do not know what to do once I get that.

Hi. I hope I'm posting this in the right thread. I just recently updated the rosters with the latest transfers in England, and updated the promoted and relegated teams in the English leagues.

If I click on Classic in the starting menu, all the teams are in the correct leagues. However, if I click on manager mode, and start a new season, some of the teams I moved around are in the wrong leagues (they're still in their old leagues), some of the teams I moved are in the right new leagues, and the coca cola championship is missing one team all together.

I've tried wiping the fifa folder in my documents folder and restarting, but it doesn't work. I've reloaded my fifa.db file in cm08 and everything *looks right* there but obviously something is not.

Does anyone know where I've gone wrong, or better still is there a roster patch online with all of the july/august 08 transfers?

For promotions/demotions, you not only edit the teams in the leagues, but you also edit the tournaments - so that the Prem has the newly promoted teams and the Championship has the newly demoted teams from the prem and the newly promoted teams from L1 etc...

Help!! Have downloaded and uninstalled CM 08, about 6 times in the last two days, but it will not load properly from my desktop.

I did step by step,and i found my problem(i think).
I did a lot of changes in tournament.
I don't know what to do in 100%,but I think it could be solve.

If i do that teams from one league,relegated to other league in other country.
I must to change some things?maybe Area?

About a year I try to change my FIFA,and allway there is a problem.
I did what Rinaldo said,to make step by step,and I found that the problem is eup editing in tournament mode at CM.
I don't know what is the problem,but allways I edit the cups,and then the FIFA crash.I'm hopeless.

someone knows what is the problem?
I tried every think,I don't have any solution.
If it help,I can take a print screen of all my changes,and to put it here,and maybe someone can recognize the problem.

I remove EA's original kits and import kits next
- why should we do like that?

After that progress,
I save CM08 and rebuild but sometimes kits is filled by 'MISSING TEXTURE' on all place.

i dont know why ,but me hapend aswell,try resize the kits from 512 to 256 in EAgraph maybe help, but by some kits do not work it i think there is something with kit colors or ??? no idea

Ya, Rinaldo, I got a problem with CM man. See, I want to give various players some faces, but it's not all that simple. Apparently, the players that have generic faces made by the game, such as Huntelaar, CM08 has the 'Import from .Fsh' and 'Import from .Png' greyed out. It's the case for ALL the players with a generic face. But if a player HAS a specific face, I can import and replace their face.

Yet the players with the generic face nothing? what's up with that. How can I get passed that man?

You have to select show 3D model (to the left of the files you are trying to replace) and then click on import 3D model (red icon below the 3D model), import the 3D model that has been given to you with the face, and then you will be able to replace the other files.

Here's two more questions, lol.

1. It says I have to create a youth player for every player I create. So let's say I created the da Silva twins for United. They're both 18. Do I still need to create youth players for the database to keep the numbers balanced?

2. Should I create youth players, how do I do that? Clone the created player and click the young players button?

Sorry for the all questions, but i'm just making sure, lol.

I don't actually know the answer to those questions, as I've never actually tried making youth players. I guess that only really becomes an issue in manager mode when players start retiring, depends if you want a 15 year manager mode career.

Actually I tried to update the squad of some famus team, when I open CM08 I found that all squads are the original ones, but I hv installed EA's January transfer update.....

so can anyone tell me how can I edit the squads which EA has already updated to January 2008?

Then CM08 freezes. What am I doing wrong?
