Hi Rinaldo, i'd created the uruguayan league on .cmp, but there's 2 problems: 1-when i go to manager mode, on statistics/league clasification (clasificación en liga en español), the game freezes and the only thing i can do is to close the game and go to window.
2-when i make a patch for the league on .cmp and a friend import this .cmp patch, the friendlys and tournament mode runs well, but when goes to manager mode the game crashes to window.

Can u help me please? it´s something wrong with the design of the league or is a cm problem?

I've had a problem which relates to cm08 and sm08. I gave David Suazo a new face but it didn't work in game and the player had orange and green skin in the game. when i went on face texture in cm08 it came up with an error. I had a similar problem with Iniesta, Cambiasso and Huntelaar.

Anyway i decided a solution might be to remake Suazo, deleting the original player and using his old player id and so using some default player textures. But it didn't show up when refreshing the player.


But when i went on sm08 to check the commentary, having copied the original sound file, it said there was an error with Suazo's id and when i tried to re-import the file it asked whether to replace the existing file, which i hadn't deleted, but it wasn't available to select so i tried yes and nothing changed. Also the player won't stay in the inter squad in cm08 and gets automatically deleted, and the game crashes when trying to view the inter squad or play as inter.

Any ideas how to solve this problem?

I have a problem with a tournament where I tried to put relegation/promotion. The first tournament I added the rule on which team would play and then chose the teams I wanted for the first year. The second tournament puts the two teams at the top of the table as the two that would be releagated. When ever I try to switch it to the ones I want for the first year the first tournament changes to put the last two from the second league back in. How do I make it so that it keeps the teams I want for the first year but make it so it will still relegate/promote the following years.

Can CM 08 edit created players and created formations?

I quite new to this so please forgive me if there is a really obvious answer.

I went to File - Open FIFA 08 and found all the games players there. Also under tactics, the original formations are there.

My question is - it seems that all the created players and the created formations cannot be edited using CM 08. Is this correct? If not, how do I edit created players with CM 08?

hey, i have a fresh install of fifa 08, and just installed your new cm08 1.01. why is it that when i open the cm and go to the world 11 team, it has different players than the one from the fifa version? are there any other changes which are different in cm than in fifa? it seems that the cm comes with edits of its own (:/)

I still use CM07 because I still play FIFA07 so i hope this question applies to FIFA08. In the game they are so many Leagues, Teams & Players that i don't use or think that i'll ever use. If I delete the things i don't need or use, Will this free up room in the .FAT file thus avoiding game crashes? or will ruin my game entirely?

Probably you are trying to import a wrong fsh file. If you import images CM08 will build a correct fsh but if you import an fsh it is up to you to be sure that the fsh file is correct.

4-4-2 formation is used by FIFA 08 when something wrong happens with the default team formation. Check which formation is actually assigned to your team in the team window.

You cannot edit players or teams created with th einternal editor of FIFA 08 with CM08.

I guess it is a matter of .NET framework (you need 2) rather the 32 or 64 bits (Vista comes with .NET 3 installed) but you should check by yourself.

No, you should make a backup of your files, Read the help to learn which files the tools are going to modify.
