Bisexual in real life, is he not?

I watched Wrestlemania 26, it was pretty good. Taker-Michaels was pretty much a carbon copy of WM25's match between the two, with a few changes. The ending was awesome though, that jumping tombstone was epic.

Bryan Danielson has apparently debuted already and they gave away a potentially 5-star match against Jericho for his debut, which was nothing special. How has he fared?

He's pretty much the highest touted "rookie" on NXT right now, clearly the top guy on the show. I'd be surprised if he didn't "win" and move on to big things in the WWE.

Out of the guys on NXT i'd go for the high flying South African fella, can't remember his name. Bryan looks the most established by far out of them.

Recently got the itch to see what's been going on with Wrestling ever since I stopped watching. It is very strange to see that Bryan Danielson (the Daniel Bryan monicker is lame) went from one of the best in-ring wrestlers in the world and an independents king to WWE Main Eventer. Yesterday I watched the CM Punk doc and was reminded of how awesome that guy was.

Also why is there only 1 world title now? Why does it appear that basically all the good independent wrestlers from 6 years ago have mostly gone and failed at the the majors (Austin Aries, Claudio Castagnoli and Danielson apparently the main exception). Why the fuck are the Motor City Machine Guns broken up and Shelley out of a contract? Why are Taker and Triple H still around? Why has the WWE had all their old stars come back? Edge is gone. :(

Also, no Kelly Kelly! WTF has been going around? Bobby, explain all of this to me.

Bryan is in the Wyatt Family now.

TNA is having financial troubles and Shelley probably thought he could make more in the indies. AJ Styles and Jeff Jarrett are gone too.

HHH is the COO of WWE, he and Stephanie are basically Vince now. Taker returns this time every year for his annual WrestleMania match.

Claudio Castagnoli is in WWE too, he's Antonio Cesaro. He's part of the Real Americans with Carlos Swagger and Zeb Coulter (Dutch Mantell).

Kelly left. Not sure why, maybe tired of the workload. She's modeling again. Alicia Fox is the best looking diva anyway.

AJ Styles left?! Holy shit. No idea who Del Rio, Coulter or the Wyatts are. My question was why were the titles unified though?

The Real Americans are sort of a Tea Party-type gimmick. It actually pissed some Tea Party folks off big time. Zeb Coulter is an old school guy, he's a great talker and serves as their mouthpiece. It's kind of neat having a real manager around like the old days with Jimmy Hart and Jim Cornette.

Alberto Del Rio is a top-level heel, Mexican aristocratic guy. Hates Mysterio and Sin Cara.

The Wyatt Family is a backwoods cult type group let by Bray Wyatt (who was briefly Husky Harris of Nexus and is the real-life son of IRS). Wyatt is great, cuts some really good promos and vignettes (YouTube him).

Unification created some hype. They're "unified" but Orton carries both belts around leaving the door open for them to be split again. They all but abandoned the Brand Extension awhile ago when Raw became a "supershow" and SmackDown followed the same week.

So it's not a competing brands thing anymore? Now it's Raw with other shows as fluff? I see ECW is out and there are new shows, what's the deal with the shows?

Bobby

The Legend
They're different shows, different angles and storylines develop on each but the big ones can feature on both. The draft and Bragging Rights PPV are gone now.

Main Event and Superstars are just secondary shows. Think Heat and Velocity.

NXT is their developmental promotion in Florida. Occasionally it features big name guys but it's mostly "future stars". It used to be an elimination-type show, now it's sort of its own brand. They film it at a film school in Tampa.

I'm not sure when I stopped watching this. Maybe it was when D-Generation X separated or when The Boogeyman retired, don't know.

I stopped right after Orton won the Royal Rumble, which is weird considering I was a big Orton mark. I was really big on it right before though, I would watch independent matches and I even did a Be the Booker thing once (sort of like writing fan fiction where you pretend to book for a promotion). I remember being excited about putting guys like AJ Styles, MCMG, Colt Cabana and Danielson into the WWE Universe and was anxious to see some dream matches (Orton vs Punk, Punk vs Jericho, Danielson vs all 3, Edge vs all 4) and in the end it seems the WWE actually did some of those feuds and I missed them. Oh well.

The Legend
Nah, Stone Cold is alive. His knees are basically dust though.

Wrestling is actually trending upward again, which is really the only way to go from the doldrums it was in. They're coming out with some more engaging characters who can actually work a match. Punk, Bryan, the Shield, ect.

Bobby

The Legend
Shelley is in Japan, so I doubt it. Styles, who knows? There's always that possibility but I don't see it happening. He'd probably (and rightfully, given his stature) want to be a feature guy and I don't think WWE would see him as one.

Sooner or later, members of the fairer sex are given the heave-ho in the world of professional wrestling. Do you require some examples?

I'll take that as a yes.

Sable
Trish Stratus
Chyna - this is wrestling, correct? Yes! Then what was wrong with a wrestler?
Torrie Wilson - Kelly Kelly version 0.1
GoldDust's wife - can't remember her name
Stone Cold Steve Austin's wife/manager - can't remember her name (Debra something???)
George Cloney's former girlfriend - can't remember her name
Sunny - early 90s Sunny and the body donnas????

Your little miss-shiny-teeth is in the process of making her exit or has made her exit - she was never a wrestler, she had no personality, non-existent in-ring presence. Basically, other than holding up a board, and smiling for the camera, she served no purpose.
