Well done to Leeds on their win and a greatly enteraining game was probably sen by all in the league unless your a west sham or leister fan:D . How did yiou find yourn sirst games of the season? Promotion hopefuls or Relegation Worries?

My predictions are That Wolves will go up then i think that second place could be anyone between Reading, Leeds West Ham Leister and mabye even sheff utd.

I will defey the crictics by saying that crewe and The gills will stay up. With Brighton, Stoke and Qpr going down to League One.

Starting XI
Leicester 0-0 West Ham

Dion Dublin was sent off after only 18 minutes on his Leicester debut.
Dublin was dismissed by referee Michael Ryan after 18 minutes following a clash with Rufus Brevett, who was booked then also dismissed near the end.

Lilian Nalis hit the bar for Leicester in the first half, while Marlon Harewood wasted West Ham's best chance.

And as time ran out in a disappointing encounter, Brevett received a second yellow card in the closing minutes for a senseless foul on James Scowcroft.

Leicester manager Micky Adams:
"I can't comment on Dion Dublin's sending off without seeing it on the video. But without wishing to sound too much like Arsene Wenger, the weather was very hot and the sun was in my eyes."

"The side did magnificently after the sending-off - we kept our shape and I thought David Connolly did a fantastic job in ploughing a lone furrow.

"I was very pleased with the way the team responded to going a man down.

"But for the first 15 minutes, we did really well against one of the season's fancied teams. To perform as we did for so long with 10 men was fantastic. I am thrilled to bits with a point."

West Ham manager Alan Pardew:
"It looked like it was going to be a really good game, but the sending-off spoiled it.
"I've seen the replay and all that happened was Dion kicked out a bit, but he should have known better.

"After the sending-off, we had plenty of possession but just didn't have that spark to open the door.

"But it was very hot out there and perhaps we weren't at our sharpest because it was the first game of the season.

"But coming to Leicester against the team we know are going to be our big rivals and getting a point makes it a great day for us.

"We were disappointed Rufus Brevett was sent off because the referee said his first yellow card was for an aggressive reaction to the Dublin sending off - but that's what we pay him for, isn't it?"
