Henrik has refuted reports that he is on the brink of an international comeback interview on celtic website
Henrik Larsson has quashed reports that he is on the brink of a dramatic international comeback and complained that he has grown ‘tired’ of speculation surrounding his possible participation in this summer’s European Championships.
Larsson announced following Sweden’s exit from the 2002 World Cup that he longer wished to be considered for selection by coaches Tommy Soderberg and Lars Lagerback and, despite making a one-off return against Hungary last April to alleviate an injury crisis, has always maintained that he will not be going to Portugal.
Now, and despite renewed pleas from Lagerback, Soderberg, Sven-Goran Eriksson and Lennart Johansson, all aimed at persuading him to reconsider, it appears Larsson’s decision remains final. Speaking in Swedish newpaper Sportbladet, he said: "In the case that I would have something to say about this matter, I would contact the national team coaches first."It's nice that many people want me to play. It's not that I am ungrateful. I am just tired of the question." Larsson also cleared of any blame his agent, Rob Jansen, who was reported to have suggested that the Swede was finally being swayed by the national campaign to force him into a re-think."It is not correct," he insisted. "When I heard about it, I called him (Jansen) directly and asked about it. He told me that he had not said it and I believe him."

you should have probably just made an SPL thread, cause there arent enough supporters in this forum from each team in scotland for there own thread. for example i only know of maybe 3 celtic fans, 2 rangers fans, 1 aberdeen fan, 1 hearts fan, 1 killie fan.

quite a few fans actually, as regards to just letting you be, if you want to be left alone why did you come into the tread and start laughing at it ? hardly the way to not get a reaction is it. But fair play if you want to be left alone so be it.As for making an SPL thread im up for that, only thing is I thought that the soccer forum ran continously not season to season so why is it too late( im aware that the season will end soon but why cant we continue to talk about our teams in the close season) :kader:
