eewwwww Chelsea! I've just started a game with Valencia as I thought I'd have a go with a wealthier side for a change.
I've bought a couple of new players in like Quaresma on the right and Okoronkwo at the back, but the default team are playing pretty well under my tactic, so I'm able to save even more cash.
Canizares is having a great season, as is Ayala (apart from the fact that he's psychotic). Aimar is awesome of course and Vicente is playing magnificently on the left side of centre midfield. 5 points clear on 26 games in my first season. Rafa would be so proud *wipes tear from eye*

Yep, it's by far my worst job. Only 4 months in the seat before I left. 50 players. Only Jose Reyes and Renato Amaral (regen... of some Brazilian) were the ones with any talent. The rest were all 16 and crap.
Didn't exactly help when I citicised the team for a poor display against Arsenal. I guess that was the nail in the coffin. Not that I care. I'm the Ingerland boss after Alan Curbishley screwed up.

Bloody CHelsea! Anyway...I've just one the Championship and UEFA cup with my first season in charge of Valencia. This is the first time that I've managed the club and I've gotta say, they have the best performing default team out of any team I've managed on 01/02. I bought a total of 5 players for the whole squad, 3 of whom didn't come until December, and two of whom only played a couple of games.
We wrapped up the championship with 16 games won in a row. Canizares, Aimar and Alonso the stars.
The best bit though was the board actually agreeing to an ultimatum for the first time ever for me. They wouldn't expand the training facilities until I threatened to walk. F*ckers!

One question. Did you buy him from Liverpool or Chelsea. 
Decided to retire from my Goteborg Game. I won the World Club Championship and decided that was enough. Finished with 8 Swedish Cups, 11 League Championships, 1 champions league, 1 Super Cup, and the previously mentioned world championship tournament win.
Now I'm deciding what league to start in and what club. Any suggestions. I don't like managing big clubs at the start of the game either.

Do you play network games? I also like to do the same thing, it would be fun to start low with someone else. My friend I usually play network with only will be Arsenal, Barcelona, etc.

How about starting with a conference side. I managed Dover a while back, and that was really challenging as even when we got to the Premiership we had a smallish stadium and limited resources compared with Man U etc. Spanish second division was also fun. racing Santander we're a good club to manage for me.
Right now I'm at home so I don't have CM on my family computer. It is on my laptop which won't have internet connection until the end of August when I go back to school. I would be up for a network game though.
I haven't managed in Spain yet so the second division or even the leagues lower than that are a possibility. I've managed Lincoln and Crystal Palace in England already so I want to try and stay away from that.
