Also, the seemingly meaningless game between Bayern and Dortmund next week takes on massive significance.

Not in the Bundesliga. I don't think that either team will start their regulars.

Leverkusen has signed Robbie Kruse from Dusseldorf, meaning that they have a replacement for Schurrle set up, so he can join Chelsea.

I hope they can get someone else as well. Kruse is decent, but he is enough nearly as good as Schurrle and it sounds like they won't get KDB on-loan either. If they want to get to the knock-out rounds of the CL they'll need more than that.

Doesn't play for over a month and a half, only two goals since December, scores 3 goals and an assit on his return.

I have no idea who Rogic is, but Kruse is probably Dusseldorf's 2nd best player after Giefer. At least from what I've seen. 7 assists and 4 goals is unimpressive, but it's the biggest direct contribution of anyone in that poor side (over a third of their goals, actually). I don't recall much of him, but I do remember making a mental note to distinguish him from Max Kruse because they were both pretty good.

Tom Rogic, he's 4 years younger than Kruse and already showed way more promise and ability than Kruse has in internationals

Oh he's some Australian guy. Right, I wouldn't know about internationals, but Kruse has been a good player in a bad team recently. I don't think he's good enough to be anything more than good depth at Leverkusen and I hope they get someone else, as well.

I suppose Düsseldorf are probably a better team with a better manager than Australia so he'd probably shine more anyway

So Dortmund have basically flipped Gotze for De Bruyne and Son Heung-Min. Obviously they don't want to lose Mario, but that's not a bad piece of business.

I'd like to see a 4-3-3 with Sahin starter, Klopp should start to change things.

Piszczek----Subotic----Hummels----Schmelzer

Starting XI
Seems quite right, although Mandžukić needs to be there, Güdnogan as well... And Martinez among the subsitutes.
