i have the Creative Labs Jukebox . i forget its exact name, but it kinda looks like a CD player and holds 20 GB of info on it, was well expensive, but it was a gift so why would i reject it ? (H)

Yeah, it all depends on how much cash you're willing to shell out.

If you want to go all out, then I'd get an Appple iPod (15 GB) for $299. If that's over your budget, I'd settle for an iRiver (128 MB) for under $240.

an iRiver 128 mb is definitely not worth 240$.


Get an Ipod mini. You can get a student discount from the Apple store.

well even a 512 mb one isn't worth 240$. You can get a new Ipod Mini 4 Gig player for 249 from Apple.com

ipod, its the best thing ive ever bought
dun go for the mini, save a little more and atleast get the 15G

also, i have a question, does the ipod mini have battery failure problem fixed?
(even though i have not yet encountered this with my ipod)

yea, i was just wondering, how bout that mw-ms70d, the sony network player, the smallest ever, does anyone have one, how is it.... i heard the conversion methods are bad, the sound quality is awesome.

iRivers have the best feature list by far but they're also very expensive - if you don't have much I'd go for the iPod mini.
