- Mario Silva for Boavista, vs Feyenord in 1999/2000 Champion's League

- He banged it from the half line, the keeper was well positioned but still didn't reach it



- Cantona for Man U vs Sunderland, dunno what season

- He's trapped with 3 players, manages to get past them before the half line, takes the ball past another opponent, 1-2 with nicky butt (i think), and then on the edge of the box brilliantly chips it over the keeper, the ball hits the post and goes in...i have that goal!

And a brilliant goal it was, It was 1996/97, that was Cantona's last season. :((Y)

Ryan Giggs vs Arsenal in the 1999 FA Cup Semi Final Replay at Villa Park. "Fit to win any football match" - Andy Gray. (H)

Paul Gascoigne's goal against Scotland at the 1996 European Championship.

And Marco Van Basten at the 1988 European Championship Final against the Soviet Union.

I have a Marco van Basten bicycle kick straight off of a cross from the corner of the box that hits the post and goes in.

It is probably the best goal I have ever seen. He was playing for Ajax when he scored it.

I have it on my computer but I don't know hoiw to post it :(

i don't think there is a 'best goal', i mean..every year we see new goals that everyone sais are the best ever, but there are some like Van Basten's at the 1988 European Champ Final, or the great Maradona's at the 1986 quarter final...or Cantona's against Sunderland...or Beckham's against Greece in the 2002 WC qualifying, or Zidane in the 2002 CL final...

Here's 2 goals that I remeber:
1. I am not sure about the identity of the player(I think Enrico Chiesa) but I'm sure he was from great AC Fiorentina, it was a game between Fiorentina and Barcelona I think.
2. The player made an amazing scissors kick from about 17 meters it came in with the bar I think.

1. Rivaldo, Barcelona-Valencia(A game on the 4th place of La liga and a place at UCL QF)
2. Rivaldo bounced the ball on his knee, bounced it again on his chest, made a superb scissors kick and the ball went like a rocket to Canizars's corner of the goal.

the 1st one was mauro bressan! i remember that our commentator went pretty nuts back then :D

also that rivaldo goal was one of the best i've seen....and the occasion to score it and what a match it was!


mine:

i saw a clip of hugo sanchez scoring a real stunning scissor when he was at real madrid against bilbao....in a year sword and helmet.

and steve marlet for lyon against lens from marc-vivien foes pass....similar goal that paolo di canio scored when at west ham against wimbledon which was the goal of the year that time
