Legend.
although it may have certainly stopped him from achieving higher goals in his career, his loyalty towards Southampton is truly admirable.

I always found his style kind of awkward, but his quality is undeniable..

great video btw, many of those goals are simply breathtaking (Y)

I remember having watched him on Tv. He was awsome.

I always wondered why he didn't move to a bigger club where he could play european competitions

The feedback has been rediculously positive and as a Southampton fan I thank you.

I am also very glad to see how everyone is not slagging him off about the loyalty thing as many people think that he wasn't determined and didn't take his career seriously enough.

Cheers (Y)

PS. I thought I would leave you with a Matt Le Tissier chant:

"Le Tiss, Le Tiss, Matt Le Matt Le Tiss, When he gets the ball he takes the piss, Matt le Matt Le Tiss!"

Glad to hear it, The Dell had witnessed so many legends playing, like Peter Osgood, Mick Channon, Kevin Keegan. But none was on a level that Matt Le Tissier was and for him to get the final goal at The Dell (against Arsenal in a 3-2 win) was great.
