The didn't play "catenaccio". Okay, but that's a real dick argument. They've always played defensively. As much as I was hating and complaining in 2006, I actually did admire the team though; for whatever reason Grosso transcended my hatred of divers, and I've always really liked Buffon and Cannavaro since playing CM as Parma . And I also despised Zidane, so Materazzi will always be in my heart.

I like Sacchi's Milan, Pirlo, Del Piero, Baresi, Baggio, and Maldini (guess he was on Sacchi's Milan).

How can I dislike Herrera's Inter? Totti (the proto-Zlatan douchebag)? Rossi? Did you ask me how can I hate Rossi? The guy was suspended for 2 ******* years for fixing games, came back and beat the Germans (although probably again a team that didn't deserve to win at the time plus I wasn't born yet). Gee, I don't know Arnau....

EDIT:

Arnau, I'm surprised you can like them after what they did to the poor Dutch in Euro 2000. Six Barca players plus Overmars, Davids, and van Bronkhorst. That team was a juggernaut and the Italians "catenaccio'd" them. No, not actual catenaccio.

I cheer for the USA over Germany (do you cheer for USA first, btw?), and don't get to see that many Bayern games. I don't like Italian soccer, why does that annoy you so much? I bet you feel similar towards some other nation or league.

Lot's of people don't like Italian soccer, doesn't bother me. What I don't like is the way you go about criticizing Italian soccer and falsely accusing us of fixing the WC in '34. That is what annoys me.

It's widely accepted just like Argentina paid off Peru to advance to the final in 78. You won legitimately in 1938, and the games were a good 40-50 years before we were born, so why do you care? You DO have a much deeper history of match fixing and arranged matches than any other major nation. Buffon even said before tournament something like "better for 2 to be wounded than 1 dead".

I think Giuseppe Rossi selecting Italy over the USA fully cemented your hatred of calcio. There was no turning back after that point.
