And isnt Nesta attached to his #13?

Other than Camo, who else is capable of playing right mid?

You may be right about the numbers but I put the # for the starting 11.

Oddo can play RM. I don't see other players play this role. It was a position we needed to cover badly. That's why we got an Argentinian to cover it.

I don't like Fiore but he can play there. Nervo too.

Alex can play RM or LM in desperate situations.

His season for Juve hasnt been up to par

Fiore deserves the spot

I think Camo was our best player this year. Fiore always as a good run during the season but never performs when it really counts. IMO

i think, i think nesta has always used #6 for italy but cant remember that well right now

yep Soon the Euro Finals and transfers are all that will be to talk about.

I like that lineup but I think Trap is stuck on C. Zanetti and Perrota for midfield....BUT they have had somewhat unimpressive years in the league so hopefully Gattuso, Pirlo, Maresca and maybe even Blasi get a chance int he pre Finals friendlies.

the threesome of Bobo Totti and DP need to be there as they have been SO GOOD when they have played together. It would be dumb not to at least start with that.

Isnt it obvious Gattuso-Pirlo is the better pairing?

But im sure Trap will choose Perotta-Zanetti

id rather baggio for fiore in that lineup
but anyway, from what ive seen, for italy, DP and il bambino d'oro play on the same line with fiore (or whoever it be) playing back in MF

better in the system Milan play, but Italia use a different system. Pirlo is not a good enough defensive player to be in the 2 man midfield. Spain's midfield ate him up in the friendly. Gattuso and someone else perhaps.

and btw, if Pirlo and Gattuso can play in a midfield of 5 at Milan, why cant they for the Azzurri?

because as n0rthstar said, azzurri play a 2 man midfield, i think its 3, and pirlo does not have the defensive part of his game at a higher enough level
at milan he has seedorf and gattuso to back him
