Rohit just said that we'll be No1 soon if we carry our god performance like this whicho be true. For this We'll have to perform well in Pakistan.

Coming to todays match,Well played Zimababwe...I didnt saw the match as I have no interest in India-Zim match. But At last they showed some resistence.

India let Zim off the hook on this one I believe, They shouldn't have crossed 200. It was a match they should have won easily.

you have to give credit to the zimbabwean lower order though, they batted very well and could well have won if not for a few lazy shots.

Australia v India tomorrow. Australia resting Hayden and Gilchrist and maybe more.....I dunno....Dont expect Australia to win though....

if india play like they did yesterday then they're in a bit of trouble, even if australia is without hayden and gilchrist. but some of the better indians are coming back eg. tendulkar, agarkar and maybe sehwag. but on the performance of last night, i wouldn't expect too much trouble for the australians

Dravid He put a cough lollie on the ball, an act of ball tampering and only gets a 50% match fine. The players earn that much as it is, I don't think thats a deterent.

Are Australia resting Gilly too? I didnt know that...And Im going to the match Who is keeping? Haddin? Ponting? Campbell?

I think its Haddins turn..Campbell is all well and good, but really he is a keeper/batsmen and isnt really quite good enough at either...Plus Haddin is the future...

What about Langer as Wicketkeeper/Opening Bat...He, Martyn and Ponting have all kept at first class level, and Langer has been playing really well...

i feel proud.

I can fault Bevan...He never looked like scoring the runs...He should have never let it get to a stage where we needed 22 off the last over...He cant bat quick enough, and takes too long ot get set...

He can guide a team from 5-6 an over required, and 5-6 wickets down better than anybody, but the modern one day game is past that.

I heard haddin on the news but he played a ING Cup match in Perth tonight so I dont know if he would be able to fly to sydney for the match. He would be tired. Campbell also played in that match and secombe is in a pura cup match against Tasmania.

So I dont know who its going to be.

the Zimmies have come close 2 times and they should of beaten the Aussies and the Indians 250 odd for both teams should be gettable but their top order is the problem!

in every single game a different part of zimbabwe's batting order has batted well. in the first couple of games it was the middle order (taibu, streak) then in the next couple its been the top order (vermuelen, carlisle, flower) and the lower order (ibrahim, ervine). if zimbabwe could put all of these performaces into one innings then a score around the 300, if not 320 mark would be possible.

If Zimbabwe had a good batting lineup they would be a very good team. They started well last match but the retired hurt, hurt them abit because he was batting well and then they collapsed and then batted well at the bottom order. As you said if they could put this into 1 whole performance then they would bat well and get good totals. Although I think there top order is a bit too slow.

Actually I think Gilchrist is playing in the match today.

He is going to be rested for the January 26 and January 29th matches where Haddin will replace him.
