I just got finished giving a verbal reacharound to the Milan thread about Sheva, and I have to say something similar about Onnnree. Having him in any other colors just doesnt look right. Hell, not to sound like a candidate for "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" but he didnt even seem in place with that cranberry pruce number you all had.
Anyway, besides the point. The identification is just too strong. Vieira seemed to be similar, but he was mostly about himself. Henry is Arsenal uber alles, and it comes out in how he is both a leader and ambassador for Arsenal. For example, I would probably wretch if i saw JT in another kit, because he is becoming our Henry or our Keane, etc. You cant imagine the club without him, and though it never got published, I wrote an article about how his absence would be a huge loss to the English game, both in excitement and publicity.
Bottom line is I am actually happy that he is staying a Gunner. To get to watch the guy is a treat, and to compete against him and Arsenal really bring the best out of Chelsea. So all that stammering can just be summed up in a simple "congrats"

Arsenal do need a CB, but should it be a definate 1st choice, or another youngster with potential. Senderos is finding his feet, and even with a fit Sol it would be a shame to break up the Toure/Senderos partnership. I think they need a new 4th choice to replace Cygan, someone with his professionalism and versatility...except better.
Almunia needs to be lost, so should Lehmann stay no.1. If he does i would like to see Wenger bring in a English understudy and as a backup, although i can't think of who - maybe Scott Carson.

Yeh we need another DM Diaby is going to be injuried for ages. Flamini is a great squad player but hes not going to be the next Vieira.
We should only get a new CB if Sol leaves.

im definately excited about the rosicky signing and it sounds complete but not yet announced officialy. Wow what a great team Arsenal will have next season but like its been said if campbell leaves we need a CB and a young GK, Djourou could probably play Cb after getting experience in WC but we'll see

i'm upset that hes leaving i didn't mean that he wasn't a great player for us. i'm just saying good players leave and we somehow end up doing good. patrick left us and we got to the cl final and got into 4th place in the league. i'll miss pires and i wish he would of excepted our deal but i can undestand that he wants more stability and went for a 2 year deal with villarreal instead.
