Didn't Mourinho admit in a press conference meeting Adriano in Milan and "improving his Portuguese"? :boohoo: :ewan:

Maybe Wenger was simply trying to learn Portuguese :jambo:

improve? he's portuguese FFS. I don't think he'll be improving anything with Adriano, unless Adriano has a portuguese professor alter ego.

...he said practice.

Del Nido is just trying to get as much as he can from Arsenal. Just look at the things he said. First he said that another Prem team came in and bid for Baptista(he doesn't mention who but he always mentions Arsenal's bid) and now he's trying to blackmail Arsenal by threatening to go to FIFA.

the other club was most probably Man Utd, they don't have to announce all their transfer dealings etc so that's why they are not named. because they are no longer a plc or something like that. Plus Chelsea would go after him if they knew that United wanted him.

Sorensen was horrible last season..... He had so many mistakes that i think he was part of the reason for the villans struggle......... but i think in a team like arsenal he would have to perform 100% each time to keep a spot...... and he is real good when he's at his best.....

Wouldn't you think he would name the club in order to drive the price up even more? It's all bullshiet.

Getting Sorensen would be so damn stupid. Lehmann plays better.

Dutch football-site www.vi.nl (usually pretty reliable) posted today that Baptista won't leave Spain, because he wants the Spanish nationality. To get that, he needs to play at least another year in the Primera Division. So, there goes our hope of signing The Beast :nape:

I was just about to mention it and yes, www.vi.nl is pretty reliable...

And at another football-site, www.voetbal24.nl, is mentioned that Gilberto could be on his way to Villareal, he has a personal agreement with the club, it's up to the clubs now, Arsenal will agree to the transfer if they are sure that Vieira is staying for another season

Perhaps Baptista is being (hopefully) signed up to replace Vieira? Remember he was a box to box midfielder at Santos, a damn good one as well. He's got the physical attributes for it, if he can tackle and mark then he has it down to a tee.

Gilberto has less chance of being sold than Vieira.
