There was a time when I favoured Dalmat over Pirlo........

I wonder if you guys would be willing to give him back to us for the 18million euros that you paid us?

18mill+Andreolli?

Most probable line up againts Lazio :

Dida

Cafu--Nesta--Maldini--Kaladze

Gourcuff--Pirlo--Seedorf

Kaká

Gilardino-Inzaghi

Gattuso is suspended and Ambro is injured (yes, shockingly).

Carlo apparently said that in Gattuso's place will be Gourcuff but Brocchi could also be an option.

To me, a midfield of Gourcuff-Seedorf-Pirlo-Kaká is a little bit too attack minded but would be an absolute delight to watch.

I obviously hope for a win, so we can move to the top of the table.. Eh.. Oh yeah. No.

Every time I see the colors black and blue at the same time I must run for a bag to throw over in. How about that for a reaction?

EDIT : damn leading 0-3 in Firenze and then letting them come back to 2-3 11 minutes before time, I bet you peed all over your black and blue panties gayboy.

I usually don't sympathize with Inter fans but watching your team go from 3-0 to 3-2 is still pretty darn good considering it it still a victory.

Need i remember you that going from 3-0 to 3-3 and loosing the most prestigious club trophy later on on PK must have made your heart go totally black. :ewan:

decent performance. good win nonetheless.

We suffered during some periods but I put that down mainly to this being the first game of the season.

Dida 6 - Looked shaky whenever backpasses where passed to him. This dude seriously lacks composure. Hopefully he can improve. Wasnt really tested otherwise.

Nesta 6.5 - Solid, as usual but a little rusty. Was first to almost all Lazio's stray balls upfield.

Maldini 6.5 - Great to see him back. A bit rusty like Nesta. There was this moment in the first half where he like triple tackled a Lazio attacker. That was super cool (H)

Cafu 6.5 - People said he is finished. Ohh he is far from it. Made his usual contribution down the right wing as a right winger. Also stopped Lazio from scoring a goal when he matched Rocchi for pace and made a great last ditch tackle (Y)

Serginho 6 - Rather quiet. Our right wing was mostly utilized in this game.

Pirlo 6.5 - Had a super oppurtunity to score when Kaká set him up. But I guess finishing isnt his best quality as he overplayed. Certainly better than last season.

Brocchi 6 - Decent performance. Made a lot of running. Almost like a mini-Gattuso.

Seedorf 6.5 - Strung a few chances and had a good game in general.

Kaká 7.5 - Not really a super performance but certainly our best player. Set up Inzaghi for the goal with a great pass. Also made two other great assists. One for Pippo which was wrongly judged for offside and one for Pirlo who missed.

Inzaghi 7 - Very lively. Obviously scored the winner. Typical Inzaghi goal. Tight situation and somehow the ball ended up in the net. Also scored another goal that was judged offside when he rounded the keeper.

Gilardino 5.5 - I think the worst player today. He linked up well with Pippo but clearly playing the second striker role is not his specialty. Hopefully he picks up form.

Subs :

Ricardo Oliveira (Gilardino) 7 - Great game in the short period he played. Scored a goal from a header and should have had a second on the counter when he took the ball from deep and dribbled pass two players but his shot was superbly saved by Peruzzi. Overall I think his pace is good and should link up well with Kaká in the future on counter attacks. Sheva?

Ambro (Inzaghi) 6 - Lost a few balls but otherwise was ok.

Favalli (Serginho) 6 - Not much. Came quite late in the game.

One disappointment was the San Siro which had lots of empty seats. I wish I was there though :(

And oh, Lazio's goal was offside. Damn Inter bribing the ref :kader:

Olivera missed a goal a tu per tu con Peruzzi, Sheva would have scored it and made it look way too easy.

I don't know what game you watched Sheva7 but giving 6.5 and 6 to Cafu, Serginho and Pirlo is giving them much.

Dida was good because no really shot at target, but our defence was BAD !!! inclunding Nesta and Maldini, that often wanted to dribble the strikers and lost the ball easily.

Pirlo was OK, Brocchi did run all over the place, Kaka was great and seedorf was good and ok at times. Gila was really bad, didn't touch the ball in the game.

Pippo very active, and Oliveira really impressed me, active and could have scored twice.

well.. we'll never know. but I think many Milan fans accept Sheva is irreplacable.

Oliveira looks great. And with Kaká on the verge of becoming absolutely one of THE best out there, Milanistas have a lot to console themselves with.

6 is like my "average" rating. Cafu was certainly above average and maybe Pirlo I slightly overrated.

No, my heart was fine, my TV imploded though due to the ashtray I threw in it when I saw clown Gerrard lift the trophy.
