Tell me how to make a sig plz~~^^!!

I don't really know how to make sig so can anyone tell me some tips...

what do i use(like what program e.g Photoshop?)
I will be asking other questions later so please help me~~

ok first tip: dont use either paint or eagraph, u just cant get anything out of those

personally i use photoshop, works a treat, doesnt take long to get the hang of it. when doing lines and stuff, anti alias off, when erasing anti alias on (u wont believe the amount of ppl who do a first sig and the players they cut out look all jagged)

ok my tip is: for sigs use photoshop with lot of filters and try not to use too much outer glow (i used to use it but now i recognize that it isn´t the best effect). Use for backgrounds patterns but not the default ones, try making them. Also for an animated sig, use imageready. If the gif u made is too big, download a program named "gif cruncher" .
For the avatar just make them in photoshop and then animate them with Jasc Animation Shop 3, it´s an awesome tool
