Technical errors of FIFA2004

I've been playing the career mode since i bought fifa2004, now i'm in my fourth season and i've noticed some really stupid errors EA have made in programming this game:
1. Winning the UEFA cup, teams should automatically qualify for the Champions League, which does not happen in fifa, same goes for winning the FA cup. I won both and i still didn't qualify for ccl
2. where the hell is SILVER GOAL? the rule changed last year i remember but in fifa2004 it's still Golden Goal
3. a player of my team got injured in Jan04, but when i looked in the team news it showed the expected return date 15Dec03, he came back on Feb04...
4. "The more successfull u are the more money u got really" that's one of John's qoutes, but winning Fa cup, dev2, UEFA cup and Carling cup gave me the same money as winning the dev1!
5. "The fourth referee is going to show the added time on the board.... unlike before when u didn't know how much time is added" another one of John's quotes, but i don't see the time???
6. One of the stupidest errors from EA, HOW TO SAVE REPLAYS??!?, i updated my fifa twice and i clearly saw the changes in the menues, but no save replay button. WTF?!?
7. The menues are really stupid, if i wanna check my players condition i have to click/ press a billion times, (how cool were the previous years menues where u could see everything in one piece)

Yea! what the hell is with that injury thing? Im always left scratching my head with that.

Also, are there no stats for the leagues? Like overall top scorer and stuff?

I hate having to go through it team by team, dont understand why it would be left out.

This 2004 have less "in-game" bugs.... but everythin that have nothing to do with the gameplay...(ex: menus and etc) is totally full of bugs..

this guys have toi take their work seriously.....bunch of lazy bastards....


(uggghhh that "injury return date" thing is really anoying!!!)

Once I had Diouf (or was it Joaquin?) sprint into the box with the ball, reading to cross but somehow he blasted the ball to Row Z behind the goal!!
I was damn frustrated.

In FIFA 2003, when keepers dive at your feet and punch the ball away the referee gives them a goal kick! Annoying as hell. Did they fix the problem in FIFA 2004?

u get more corners in 2004 than 2003, what u said never happened to me in 2004, but it's so much easier to score corners in 2004

I finished my first season with Liverpool, conceding ZERO goal in the league. According to my objectives I'm entitled to an extra 200 points.
But the problem is, I didn't get the points! What I got was a red X for the objective.

PS: the 200 points is for getting 3 (or was it 7?) consecutive clean sheets.

i miss the bug in WC 2002 where when we kicked the ball off target, the camera will follow the ball movements till outside of the stadium....haha....that was so cool, i've got chance to see korea/japan city on a piece of cardboard

In real life you dont qualify for champions league if you win the FA cup. UEFA cup winners use to qualify for champions league, but the rule was changed in 1999/2000, as the Cup Winners Cup was "abolished" or merged with the UEFA Cup.

I had the biggest bug the other day ... I was playing my brother on ps2 ... i was Barcelona he was Real madrid ... I had the corner (as barcelona) i crossed the ball to the player near the far post (Ronaldhinio was highlighted and Zidane was marking him) but for some reason i powered up the ball and shot ... but i was shooting with Zidane (which was on real madrid the opposite team) and Zidane scored for me and started celebrating .....

U all probably think i am macking this up ... but its true!!! ... this is the biggest bug i have seen in all fifa games!! ... I swear this happened ...

one thing i noticed, playing as liverpool at anfield (on the PS2), is when you score, and you get a reaction shot of the backs of some of the crowd (sitting high up the stadium) it is actually the Liverpool team! Even the "hyypia" style supporter is wearing the captains armband!

Anyone laso notice on the PS2 that all blond haired players are now white haired! Smoething wrong with yellow!?

well ... here's some bugs i noticed :

1. when an oppose attacker marked my player with a corner kick of theirs, then i "accidentally" headed an own goal, but instead, the player that marked my player was awarded as the goal-scorer ... rediculous ...

2. the opposing goal keeper (in better club) seems to get to any shot in Professional difficulty, even 1-to-1, although i still can score some goals, but that's quite hard ...

3. i see a lot (and i do mean A LOT) of shot hitting the post ... what the heck is that? either you let it go in or just wide ... way too much ...

4. missed a bug ... we can't TACKLE THE GOALIE!!!

2. The hair style is crap altogether, Seaman's hair tale keeps goin into his back if u notice, and it looks like sh*t hanging down!
3. yeah y the hell can't we tackle the goalie? i was losing 4-2 once and i wanted to get 5red cards, just to get a 2-0, but i couldn't
4. u all forgot one thing, THERE ARE NO CURVED SHOTS!, i was able to do it only once with Gigs in PS2 though, but i never did it again , all the shots look gay when there is no curve, but it felt really good when i scored with Gigs, curved past the goalie and went in the far corner

well ... you can't get 5 reds easily by tackiling goalie since FIFA 2003 ... if you tackle the goalie from the front, you only get a foul, tackling from behind, you get a yellow ... you only get direct red in WorldCup 2002 ...

i see there's a ball spin option ... but when i try this ... my free kick always missed ...

some other bugs are :

1. still no handball ...
2. during corner ... there should be at least to defender at each of the post ... for realism ...
3. when the goalie is ready to kick the ball (as the ball is kicked out by opposing team), you go to pause menu ... it automtically kick it when you get back ... he just pass it to the nearest defender which is dangerous if opposing team's players haven't gone off ...
4. goalie can't throw the ball down for himself ... so that he can bring the ball himself ... this appear in FIFA 2003, but not 2004 ...

by the way, Liverpool just scored a goal against Newcastle United by Danny Murphy!

Yeap, the goalie automatically try to pass the ball to my defender who happens to have a striker in between the goalie & the defender. Thus the stupid goalkeeper actually automatically pass to the striker who then scored
