Team formations and strategies

Obviously gameplay must improve for FIFA 2004, just don't crap on about Konami and ISS games are better. They don't have club sides. FIFA 2000 and FIFA 2002 provide the blueprint of a soccer game. They have great gameplay, control buttons, camera views and teams. For FIFA 2004 they must also include extra formations and strategies.

2-3-5, 4-2-4, 3-3-4, 3-5-2 (x). Include the "rotation" play used in Total Football by the Dutch in the 1970s. Also something that involves throwing every player into attack.

i would like a CM-like managerial aspect to season modes, which would include tactics. being able to play for many seasons with transfers, more injuries, morale etc........ that would be nice, but it might be difficult to implement.

however, more controllable tactics are a must. in fifa 97 (I think), you could place players where you wanted them (or so i seem to recall :$). that would be cool :rockman:

Great that someone agrees! It's good if you're playing on a hard level or a hard team.
