hi guys...

can anyone tell me if we're gonna be able to select the tema captain in fifa 2004??

fifa 2003 really sucked in that aspect, it had the captain but normally was the player that took the free kicks...

I hope so ... but in fifa 2003 you can changet the kick takers and the spot kick and the captain from the creation center ... and the captin is not always the one who shoots the free kicks . eg : the captain of manutd is Keane and the Free kick taker is Beckham

you're right, but them beckam got injured and keane to and then giggs was the captain... I changed kick takers but didn't work...

but what the hell, it's a small thing, I'm thinking that the game will come out great

I really hope we have captain selection as it really annoyed me. Eg when Becks got injured for England Gerrad was automatically second choice. Having Gerrad second in charge didnt annoy me that much but i would have preffered to have been able to choose someone (e.g. Owen,Ferdinand). Thanks to Chau i changed that when the CC was updated.

this must have to be included IMO. with career mode, captaincy must be an important inclusion for morale boosting etc?

I think thats a great idea. That probably has something to do with it.

god i hope so. i hope that being captain doesn't just iimprove the players performance but the entire teams. so you have to choose your captain wisely.

good thought about the captain affecting team morale...bayern munich wouldn't be as good though...all kahn does is run his mouth about his team mates..it can't help can it? so that would be a good thing in the game definately.

Definitely Captain is a very important thing in a football team. he leads the team n what's goin on in hard moments.EA should let us choose'em this year again.
