Hi has ne1 tried this new tool called Taxi??It is meant to capture video and screenshots and it even comes with its own PES3 setting.I got it from ProEvolutiOnline and was just wondering if it is any good??

Ok ive tried it and it works a LOT better than FRAPS 2.0(well for me anyway.With fraps it slowed my game down while i was playing but with Taxi its the same as playing PES3 without anything on.It Rocks!!

yes, I tried it too and it seems to be much better than fraps or hypersnap/hypercam
it doesn't take so much processor power like fraps use to does, and catch shots good even with 3D Analyser (Fraps had problems with that)

I don't own WE7:I, so it's hard to give a useful advice... One question though: does WE7:I use DirectX 9, or DirectX 8 (like PES3)?

if you read the readme im sure it says you can only use DirectX8 games.

--Edit--
Ive just searched about the internet and found that WE7:I uses directx8.1 so i am not sure if the directx is the problem....it might only "hook on to" Directx8.0

it absolutely the best capture tool ever
comparing to Fraps (1.9 & 2.0):
  • I get just litlle bit slowdowns during recording (in Fraps it was horrible slowdowns)
  • you can easy turn on/off toggle display (small green square), fraps had BIG yellow numbers of fps
  • it works perfectly with 3D Analyzer (Fraps had huge delays between pressing record key and start recording - the same thing is with catching screens)
  • you can catch screens in two resolutions (normal fullscreen and small - two different keys for this)
  • it produce smaller avi's than Fraps (dunno how it's possible 'cause it's just uncompressed movies but it's true (or simply Taxi's avi's are better to compress in Virtual Dub than Fraps avi's - it's a fact just see above posts)
  • it doesn't require superb PC (instead of Fraps and HyperCam)
  • Taxi is absolutely free (Fraps 1.9 too, but 2.0 version don't)
  • it takes just about 160 kb (with dll)

just tried it for we7, it worked but real slow, are ther any settings that need to be changed . like frame weight or such.been playing around vids seem to be really big..

official Konami patch for PES3 slowed down PES3 for many ppl (me too so I don't use it)
but WE7:I has probably applied this patch so you can't choose between patched/unpatched version and it sucks

dunno how Taxi works on we7:i, I've never checked it
maybe try to reduce fps or just play with varios settings 'till you'll find the best for you
