Does anyone know how the game cracks tactics? If I use the same tactic all the time, but I have it as like 5 different files with different names and I rotate the tactics, will the game crack it?

If the file are the same, then rotating the tactic won't make a difference. The computer will crack the tactic. However, if you made some small changes in each of them so they were different, then that would be a different subject.

Why?

Why is that? Is it because the game sees what positions you place the players and the instructions you give them and matches them from file to file, even different ones???

Tactics take about 1-5 seasons to get cracked. You know when you suddenly start getting crap results, either hardly scoring, or conceding lots. Probably over a period of 5 games, if results have not improved, change your tactic.

Say the computer was playing 4-4-2_push, the next game it may play 4-4-2_push*

The '*' indicates the tactic has been edited, the AI is simply posiitoing it's players where your tactic's weaknesses are. The game becomes harder as it goes on, because the AI is positioning there players in bette positions to counter yours.

However, if you have a team full of players like Carlos, Veron, Ronaldo, Di Canio :D and so on, then your players are so good, the tactics won't matter.

Do they get cracked if I use different file names though? I still don't see how they can get cracked if I use one tactic, but I have them in different files with different names, unless the game cracks tactics based on position and instructions for every tactic used. Does anyone know if thats the case?

Renaming the same tactic won't work.
