I have a ATI M9 and the game (also happened in the demo)runs too quickly. When the players enter the pich they run in a hyper speed, it's inpossible to play (and i've already reduced game speed inside the game). What else can I do?
What about the graphics? The demo had better graphics than the final game. I'm running on 1024x768 :32. Which ini do i have to edit to get better graphics?

I've been searching the web for this problem and it seems that the main problem is the CPU-speed. FIFA detects a lower speed then you're working with. To test this you can run the EZ-utility in the support directory of fifa. But now I'm looking for an command/program so that fifa detects the right speed.

I have the same problem. The problem is indeed the cpu speed detection used in fifa. Its mainly laptop users such as me that have this problem because of the built-in cool n quiet feature some laptops have.

Ive looked everywhere for programs that determine the correct cpu max speed. i found one called speedswitchxp which can be used to make the EZ utility register the correct speed. But I was well surpised to see that this did not help. My game is till impossible fast. But my recomendation would be that you download speedswitch xp and try it. Make it run on "Max performance", then try the EZ utilities. Tell me if this works for you.

Anyone else got a solution? Dammit I want to play.

I've also got this stupid problem - there must be some way of combatting it, its really annoying.
What do I do once I've downloaded SpeedSwitch? How does it work?

I've managed to install fifa 2005 in my laptop (an HP). I've deactivated Speedstep in the BIOS and, as the cpu is always at full speed, the game installed and played correctly.

Unfortunately, my keyboard doesn't register 3 keys at the same time and, thus, I can't run in diagonal and pass or shoot at the same time. Any solution for this?

YES!!!

I did it! I've upgrade my bios in the HP website(I have a compaq notebook) and a game runs great!

Maybe you guys should try it.

Good luck to you all!

the game, on slow setting, is super fast, totaly unpleayable, the good thing is I get excelent graphics and it runs smooth as silk.

smooth as silk running down a waterfall at 1000m/h

I heard something about updating my BIOS to help, how would I do this? are there any other solutions, sucks us with centrino comps can't play the game imo.

any help is apreciated.

I understand that. But I don't have any room in my bag to bring a pad, so I would like to play it with the keyboard, which seems to be impossible, with this laptop.
