I'm attempting to create a tactic for CM0304 based on a typical 4-4-2. I'm getting good results so far but i need to maximise the potential of the tactic.
I'll give a detailed outline of the tactic and the individual instructions used.

I do apologise for the length of the posting in advance :rolleyes: :p

As i said, the results are good so far, winning away from home and not conceding goals (3 so far in league from 10 games) but only scored 16 so far.
I can e-mail anyone who wants the tactic to try it and tweak it and let me know how it goes

personally i believe the DRL should be Mentality Normal or Attacking.

The classic 442 relies on the wing backs getting forward. Might be a reason for you not scoring too many goals.

Its quite a bizarre one isnt it. Decided when i installed CM that i wouldn't bother with backgrounds/quickstarts and sounds so all i was left with was this AFC wimbledon dude. anyway, to save posts i put them both together in PSP. Man, have to get a new Beyonce photo in there soon. Anyway, my full back, Lauren has got 5 goals from 18 games so i think my attacking mentality seems about right, so far anyway.

Only thing that concerns me is the amount of chances squandered and thumped over the bar.

The actual Arsenal first team at the moment. Although, brought in Guayre from Villareal and Anthony Gardner from Spurs on loan to challenge for places.

You should try and Sign Mexes

Also remember to Extend Henry and Pennants Contracts and in Jan look for some good frees. Bonera from Parma is a good one

you mind sharing your tactic? ...ive been frustrated for quite some time by my defence allowing crappy goals and giving up leads in late minutes ... so if u can show me ure tactic so maybe i can tweak mine to at least give me a competitive chance in some games :(

yea, thatd be great if u could post summat about ur defensive tactics.................... i can score loads, i scored over 150 in a first season with aston villa and was easily top scorer in the whole league but as i conceded over 80 goals.......... i still finished 4th in league but still..................... iv tweaked it a little and its a bit better but im still conceding silly goals.................

im trying to tweak my tactics because it doesnt work for me, but im keeping the shape, i concede 7 at home to spurs :f***:
but im scoring goals after a poor game at home to leeds, beat liverpool 3-1, but its the goals im conceding :(

Yeah but this spurs player has got 5 goals this season from centre back.

Attempted to get Mexes but he already moved to Valencia, like everyone else seems to be doing.

Sold Edu for £6m to Deportivo and Wiltord went to Man U for £7m (best offer)

Signing Bonera, Gardner, Boumsong, Isaac Osbourne, Sebastien Saja and hopefully Scott Parker at the end of the season.

Villareal will not part with Guayre at all though. swines!!!

Slight amendment to my tactics as well. Removed all directional arrows from the players, set my centre halfs to closing down in their own half and set them on zonal marking. Also put my wingers on forward runs.
