You are so right. EA, without the great work of Ariel and others, I doubt if this game would sell much at all. We appreciate that you allow/encourage third party development to improve your game, but take care of these guys -- your profits really come from them!

Nick, you're right. EA says that the PS2 is its top seller, about 35% of the market. But after their recent $1.23 BILLION dollar quarter, I'd be happy with just a small portion of that!! ;)

I just re-read this thread yesterday, and I thought I would bring it up in the wake of another great Ariel discovery.

As like El_Gallo said, why didn't you invite Ariel Santarelli, he's the best (to me) in the FIFA community, do you know him? what do you think about him?

Yes we know him and all the other creative guys and love their work and we hope that this years Creation Center will support his work and allow him to be even more creative.

I find it rather ironic that we editors are working so hard trying to put Creation Centre into everybody's Recycle bin.....

but Ariel will change something in the .exe file. I heard it's illegal to change the programm code, isn't it? :confused:

He is just activating something that EA decided to leave out of the game. A lot of it is still built on last years code, they don't start from square 1.

He is also using his knowledge of customising the cinematics, to enhance the game. All in all a great effort, shame we can't tweak it on the other platforms, but being able to edit the game gives the PC version an edge.

This is a little bit off topic, but can Ariel make something like the skill move selector like in FIFA 2002 ? Only now probably the name would be the freestyle move selector. Some players like Riquelme needs a special move of his own I think.

If the damn thing was already in the EXE. Why the hell cant EA keep it on!!!!????????

I suppose there wont be any reasonable answer for that.

Yep, I think it'd be cool if FIFA 2004 used Xbox-live for us Xbox players', we could talk to each over the net and curse our playing styles, lol! This would bring the community together, BUT, when all is not well, it's people like Ariel that bring the Pc players' together with his fantastic updates, programs, just amazing work, which really does bring a ray of light into the ever fading game, that is FIFA 2003. :(

I believe that EA have a game FUUUUUL of potential, but I also believe people like Ariel can at times, make EA's efforts look SH*T!

or did they want to test someone in the FIFA Community to see if anyone is able to find all these hidden secrets...
