Subscribing to threads

Why whenever I post something am i 'Subscribed' to that thread and when someone posts I am sent an E-Mail

The other day i checked my old e-mail address and found that I had 472 e-mail messages from 'Soccergaming Mailer' saying that i had subscribed to the thread

is it possible to turn AutoSubscribing OFF?

yeah, there's a way to take it off.

goto the user cp
under the messaging and notification heading
goto Use 'Email Notification' by default?
and click "no"

that should do it

There's a checkbox where you can turn the feature off......


Uncheck this:


Email Notification: emails sent to you whenever someone replies. Only registered users are eligible
