stupid AI miracle comebacks!

Just got the game for PC and played 1st match in manager mode and im dominating(semi pro cuz im not that good) and im up 2-0 in the 2nd half and out of nowhere they score 3 quick goals on some quick almost no touch passes and i lose 3-2 Is there any fixes for this?

who would want to fix that? that's what happens sometimes.

yep....you go into the learntoplay.ini file and extract the defensetutorial.ini....its a readme and should tell u how to stop

I agree, sometimes their last minute goals are very weird, like a header from outside the penalty area , or some wonder-volley from way way outside the box the flies into the top corner

I admitted im not that good but when u have the ball the entire game and have 23 shots to their 3 and all 3 of theirs are in the last 5 mins and they all go in thats frustrating and its not about being good,its about the AI cheating.

People who let down their defence late, lose momentum and have three golas get scored on them in five minutes can't claim their good.

People every year claim cheat, cheat because they can't defend. There are some miracle or last second goals for sure but that occurs in real football as well. Look at Liverpools comeback against Milan in the CL.

You're on semi-pro..you can't be that good.

Yeah i pointed out a couple times that im not that good Anyway got a 1-1 draw in 2nd match and went up 3-0 in 3rd one and held on that time for a 3-1 win so maybe that first match was a bit of a fluke.I will keep at it

I'm not trying to denigrate you btw, just pointing out something. If its any consolation I just got knocked out of the Champions League on the away goal rule in the first knockout stage on a late goal....so it does happen.

I hate how I'll have 60% of the possesion and 20-30 shots to their 5-10 and I can never keep a clean sheet.

I played Watford and was up 7-0 and then they always score atleast one, even if they only have a couple shots. How am I supposed to get clean sheets like this?

I was about to open a thread about the same thing.

I don't mind if they come back and tie the game if I deserve it because well, that's the way it should be... if I let my guard down, by all means, throw the match in my face and walk over me.

But when in order to come back all they have to do is make a shot from anywhere and it will go in, then yes... it's not fair and I will get mad. Specially when they score more than once on the same fashion.

I have received as much as two goals (same match) in decesive matches on the Champions League in the last minutes to tie the game that are just like that... from 40 yards, a player will receive a pass, will not even control the ball just shoot it and the ball will go in... sometimes the keeper does not even move. The header from outside the penalty area that goes in very slowly is even worse...


Like I said, I don't mind them coming back if at least they score believable goals...

I find it frustrating that 80% of CPU goals come from pathetic mistakes made by the AI on my team
The other 20% is a mix of my mistakes, good play by the CPU, or geniune bad luck on my side

But on the other side, a good 70% of my goals come from pathetic mistakes made by the CPUs AI
