Strategy question/idea.

I posted this over at EA, but I thought it should go here as well, since this seems to be where the modding goes down:

I think it'd be really good if you could view your opponent's lineup during the match, so you could get an idea who's tired and so on (which you'd probably pick up on as a real manager). Then, you could target them, say for example they're a fullback and they're tired, you have Ronaldo on the bench. On he goes, to play on the side of the knackered fullback and run rings around him!

I'm sure this can't be modded in, so an idea for the future, or a patch, EA?

Also, it'd be great if you could click on your players on the formation screen while in game, if you want to nudge them around a bit. Or if you get a red card, you might want to juggle things around a bit, otherwise you could get a dirty great gap in your defence. You can do this in PES (of course).

What do you guys think?

I think it's a fantastic idea and the only problem I can anticipate is that if it was installed in your game, it might prove incompatible with online play ? (Personally I never play online, so don't really give a hoot)
If it could be done, it would certainly add to the managerial/strategic aspect of the game and you are right, this ability to identify weaknesses in the opposition, is what makes Ferguson, Mourinho and Wenger at al such great managers. Bring it on baby !!!
