I remember seeing the video and i have to say, boy if he missed the ball, he would have been getting sticks from people for years after that. However he didn't mess up and people see it as the most original save that ever happened.

LOL I remember one of my friends used to do that when we played streetball. Whenever the ball was lobbed high towards him and his goal, instead of catching it he tried to do that.

That was so good. I remember when it happened I tried doing the kick with my neigbour the day after. I nearly got it properly after a trillion attempts, but in the end all I did was hurt myself.

i think it was higuita himself that called it the Scorpion Kick when describing it.

plus it's the best description for it (as it looks like a scorpion )
