Mou said Mata didn't play because he was unfit. I believe him more than the Spanish papers. Mata has said recently that he's fit now so we'l have to see how it goes.

I don't understand why it is an issue? It's like the English media tearing into Watford all last season and this, changing the rules to curb their success - They can't pin systems like this onto their world cup failures, Italy is a much worse "offender" and they've won 4.

That article is ridiculous. We sign players who we think will one day be good enough but rather than putting all our eggs in one basket we have dozens of youngsters who try to prove themselves. The loan restrictions are stupid. If a player doesn't get a chance in the irst team it's because he's not good enough. He is loaned to.a level of competition where he can play and improve and if he becomes good enough he is brought back.

Kakuta's work.ethic was doubtful and he simply hasn't improved enough. He was good for Vitesse last season and could still be a good player but not with us.
