man what a ****ty couple of days it has been for Steaua . I don't feel at all confident about this draw unless our play improves dramatically from now to then.

Gigi Becali said that Radoi will have left Steaua before the Galatasaray match, Inter having made an offer of €14mil. and this time it looks like he's being serious, Victor Becali said that he proposed Radoi to Moratti (he was the one that got Chivu there) and Chivu put on a good word for Radoi too.


as for the Galata match, I think we should see how we do against Brasov tomorrow and then think about CL, however our advantage is that the turks' league hasn't started yet so we should be in the better physical form. also, Toja should be arriving in time for the first leg, and hopefully Hagi will give Laca some advices, since he knows everything about turkish football (yet nothing about romanian football).

Toja is not a playmaker man. The Romanian press writes all this crap about him yet they've probably never seen him play a full match. He is strictly a left winger. That is the only position on the field where I have ever seen him play. He's too slow to play in the center of midfield but his speed is just right for a strong winger like him. When he's gonna be on the pitch, this whole switching of the wingers that Laca likes to do won't work because putting Toja on the right would make absolutely no sense, the lad would trip over himself running.

I was at work so I didn't see the match, I'm waiting for the torrent to surface. Dayro and Arthuro scored two beauties but once again Zapata looked shaky on the goal we conceded .

3 points, that's all that matters at this point. This team needs confidence.

we played pretty good, especially the 2nd half. created many chances, and if it was a different day we would have scored loads I think. weird is that Lacatus changed back to 4-4-2. oh and I know a site that broadcasts gsptv if you wanna watch Steaua matches while at work.

oh and a sub à la Lacatus - around '80ish when it still was 1-1 he brought Lovin off and got Rada in. what a mastermind.
