Yesterday: Spartak 0-2 Basle

Now Liverpool have to win if they are to progress to the second stage, and since Basle have already drawn at Anfield and earlier in the CL beaten Celtic, Liverpool have a tough task on their hands, as they have to attack while Basle can sit back and catch them on the break.

That's a great result by Basle to win in Moscow. When Basle played Liverpool, the reds outshot them 27 to 2 and where going through that early season slump (you know, the one in which Michael Owen was 'crap' and had been 'found out') - Basle are a tough team but we've gone to other tough places to get results so hopefully we can do the same here.

"L" & "E" are quite far from each other on the keyboard & how do you explain three people spelling it as "basle" in this thread?! It's Basel.
