What a mistake to bring Beckham to Real Madrid, should be really more smart to buy a a top midfield and a top defender with that 35 euro millions.

about Real Madrid,
Beckham will struggle during the first months the same way Zidane or Ronaldo did (I remember many people said Real Madrid played better without Zidane in his first season until november), but after then he will be useful; yesterday, Real Madrid's goal came after a corner kicked by him and when he is playing in the middle he can pass Ronaldo behind defender's back when he is running towards the goal (what's he likes more).

about Mallorca,
I love Etoo game but if you watched the game and if you know something about this, you should have realized who's the man in the Mallorca team: Ariel Ibagaza. Our league has a lot of talent at the playmaker spot (Zidane, Aimar, Valeron, Mostovoi, Riquelme, etc) and he is as good as anyone making the last pass. If you can, watch again Bruggin's goal.

Etoo is a great striker.

The problem is his carachter. He's too impulsive.

That's why he's not yet in a big team, although I'm sure he will go to a big team shortly.

I can't believe everyone singles out Becks for criticism. I watched the game against Valencia and the game against Mallorca, in both games he did just as well as any of the "stars" on the pitch. They all played badly. In fact, Beckham set up the only madrid goal, so I wouldn't criticise his game.

As for Quieroz, I don't think he's doing Becks any favours by subbing him twice consecutively so early. He should've swapped cambiasso for makelele and left beckham on. Not sure how Quieroz will be able to handle his players as a manager, because we know he's a good coach, but his people skills might be tested at Madrid.
