Well only a few weeks left and its
1) Eto 22
2) Forlan 20

Forlan has already said many times that he doesnt really cares about winning Top Scorer and is happy that Eto could do it.

Guess itll prob be Eto.....but the part that kinda gets me (and not being biased...but just facts)...Is that If Forlan had taken like 1/8th of the PKs that Riquelme took (Forlan scored all 20 With no PKs while Eto scored most of the PKs for Barca this season).....hed be beating the record with his eyes closed.

Oh well......Congrats Eto. Great that Spain has these 2 great forwards for us to enjoy.

(Oh and the whole "Lets see what Forlan does with no Riquelme" thing was kinda put to practice last night. I think Forlan played one of his best games this year scoring 2 goals.)
So I guess if Riquelme does leave (And lets hope not since Villa Real could fight for the SPanish Championship next year), I think they wont be fazed TOO much (it would be a shame though)

eto will win, barca don't have any strikers left without injury, Eto will probably play the last games unless he's injured, and Barca don't have the toughest opponents left except valencia.

also scored 3 vs. Brazil and is one of the top scorers in South American Qualifyers :read: (H)

I compare him alot to what happened to Crespo (or Veron for that matter....in quality)

Crespo in Italy- Amazing
Crespo in England (think he scored like 2 goals all season)
Crespo in Italy (Milan)- Well.....wow

Forlan in Argentina- Mind Blowing
Forlan in England- Not his best but was huge in Man U's title in 2002/03 (also top scorer in the World Tour).
Forlan in SPain- Well.....etc etc

Guess England isnt for some people (as it is for others like Rud Van)

great to see him revive his career.

We shouldn't have sold him for the cheap.
anyways this is what we do-buy players with excessive money and sell em with less than half the cost price.no wonder the boards tight over money nowadays.

i even remember that there were somewhat realistic rumours about man utd going for Milner(now at newcastle) the estimated bid was around 15-18 m and look how much newcastle got him for 3-5m?

edit: Crespo actually wasnt that bad in England, he had a decent average goal/game rating. (I think 10 goals in 20 matches, correct me if im wrong)

If Ronaldo keeps up his scoring then he'll win for sure. Eto'o s streak has lowered, and Ronaldo has been scoring 2 gols a game lately....4 games left....

he actually made a bet with Perez that he would be top scorer, he keeps saying in his interviews that he's going to try to be the top scorer

hasn't ronaldhino taken most of our PK's? i know eto'o has taken a few, but i don't think he's taken most of them.


i want him to get it, he's had an amazing season.

I think Eto'o will be El Pichichi.

Forlan has scored all those goals because he's the #1 striker. He wasn't that at Man. Utd.
