soundblaster live 5.1!!

i want to play a game called battle for middle earth, but the system requirements say that the game needs a directx9.0 compatable sound card to run.

i have a soundblaster live 5.1 soundcard. Will my game run? Is this soundcard compatable with direct x9.0?

is there something i need to download for it?

i downloaded directx9.0 for my video card, but do i need to do the same for audio card?

i need some help please...

i think dat soundcard is quite old.....try buying audigy platinum or platinum EX....that might help......I THINK

on the system requirements for bfme it said that the sound card needed to be directx9.0 compatable, i hope it is.
