sound card problems

Problem: all audio sounds like a 45 speed record being played at 33 1/3 speed -- very slow. Includes voices, music, and sound effects.

System: PIII 866, 512MB RAM, ATI Radeon 9500 w/128MB RAM, Turtle Beach Santa Cruz Sound Card, Altec Lansing Speakers, OS is Windows XP Home.

Other Notes: I've already updated all drivers to the newest available and disable my AV as suggested in troubleshooting tips. No other games have ever given me this problem (including all the FIFA games through FIFA 2002)

Please help me! More than a little frustrated:f***: !

Seems like you got everything you need. I'm not sure about your sound card though. Is it a generic card??

No. Its made by Turtle Beach -- a subsidiary of Voyetra. Its one of Dell's standard cards. I just installed the program on my computer at work -- no problems.

HELP!
