What I find absolutely hilarious is how these unconstitutional bills race through Congress yet bills that actually matter that deal with the USA's unemployment and healthcare crisis' seem to always either stay on the legislative floor or get vetoed. Just shows how ignorant, incompetent, ineffective, and unintelligent the politicians who run The USA are.

They know that people don't really have a choice. Congress has been gerrymandered to the point where Representatives effectively have seats for life as long as they have the money to campaign. Senators and Reps in competitive districts even more so. They know people don't really pay attention, and all it takes is a costly media blitz to keep buying their seat every 2 or 6 years. So they sell out to the special interests who fill their coffers. The sad thing is that the contribution limits are so low that they're being bought and sold for pathetically little money. For all their faults, we need more independently wealthy politicians like your boy Corzine and my boy Kohl. For all their other faults, at least they aren't shilling for donors at the expense of everyone else.

Yep, well put. On another related note, my Russian friend has yet to crack FM 2012 for me. I may have to buy it.

Oh really? It's definitely out there if you look in the right places. This was the first version I bought after it taking so long, but it has been cracked now.

I have, actually. But these guys cracked the .exe of the program. That's a no-no for me I want it to read the image mounted straight off Daemon tools. Generally the anti-piracy protection detects a cracked executable and the built in anti-piracy measure for FM kicks in, which usually means no regens generated(at least for past versions it did, I believe). Can't live with that, even if it's free.

Has nothing to do with these proposed bills, and pretty obvious Megaupload (and all other sites) were flaunting their violation of intellectual property rights, but still... sucks for me.

Anonymous members are distributing a link that ropes internet users into an illegal DDoS attack against these websites simply by clicking it. The link is being shared widely on Twitter and in Anonymous chat rooms, often with no context except that it relates to Operation Megaload. I clicked it a few minutes ago because it was being spammed in an Anonymous chatroom and found myself instantly DDoSing Universalmusic.com, my computer rapidly pinging the page with no way to stop except quickly closing the window.
