Something Bizzare during Career Mode

Rio Ferdinand was listed, and sold.

Joe Cole was listed, so I bought him.

Wright-Phillips wasn't getting a game so I had to pay a good 2,000 more to chelsea to get him, because I needed a player like him. Bastards.

If you want a quality striker, but not on the cheap, go look @ Juve's squad. Fark.

players of 90+ level go to stupid clubs
players of 70-89 ratings most of the time go to decent clubs


there need to be boundaries put in

there needs to be in fifa 06 a smiple thing as giving the cpu bank accounts plus transfer budgets so its impossible to buy players way out of their league



e.g

teams like boston should have £2,000 in back account but £500 as there transfer Budget

low premierleague teams like west brom should have it at 10,000 in back account but £7,000 as their transfer budget

teams like juventus, barcelona etc.... should have £50,000 in back account but £30,000

chelski should have 100,000 as their transfer money (rich *******)

with top class players like ronaldiniho at 13,000 theres 1 way in which lowly teams will have less chance of buying players like that, there also should be common sense boundaries but i think ea should be able to use those few brain cells they have to put them in

that would be a good idea but the fact is that i think that in career mode many of the teams that have big budgets are going after the young talent that has alot of potential
(ex. in my game bayern got rid of makaay and replaced him with some young dutch striker that is 19 and has so far developed into a 94 rated striker and with my team cologne i found a 17 year old midfielder that so far has scored 6 goals and is rated 82)

its all about the young talent, so in the end its the teams that i trying for a promotion or entrance to Europe that is hunting the market for veteran talent no matter the age...

but hopefully next year the developers would make the market equally competitive

Heres a hint, a year before you know one of your top players is going to retire, sell them off.

Good hint Paul, it's so surprising how you can cheat the game, whereas in other football games(management games) it would be difficult to do so.
