SoccerGaming Competição De Poker II

SG's Fluffiest
It's that time of the year again! I've got too much free time on my hands in August and would love to use that time to defend my title. The SG CDP II should be bigger, better and kinkier than last time!

Biggest questions:

1) which poker room?
2) what buy-in?

All ideas and fluffy stuff are welcome!

All I gave to say is: NOT the first weekend of August :)

FullTilt worked well last time.

After that weekend is good enough.
If we decide on FullTilt though, who's willing to put up the prizepool? If we'd play on PKR I'd be able to put up the babymonies

with the kind of contestants the tournament will have, i'd say they'll accept you only if your buy-in is a strip-dance.

I don't like the implication that only these type of people who contest here want to see me strip dance.

Fili, that's quite possibly the most random thing you've ever said on SG, well done.

You're still a million miles off King, and a billion off Bobby, but it's a start (Y)

I have $4.32 in FullTilt (although I recently got an email saying I have $25 bonus that I could earn)... oh, and about $4 in PokerStars (H) not enough to fund it like I did last time. and not willing to after those randoms came in and took my money :(

I shipped my entire bankroll to PKR and am scared to use Neteller to ship some monies back to Full Tilt. I could organise something on PKR, but:

1) no internal money shipping to give me my monies back

2) some people seem to have a problem with the PKR software

We could organise a buy-in tournament: something like $1 or $5?

A friend of mine just told me about www.pkr.com It's a 3D poker environment. You have to download the software but it's free and you can play with real or fake money. I'm downloading it now, so I can't vouch for it's quality. But maybe it's something to consider if you just wanna play with your SG buds, without losing money, like me, since I have none.

PKR is a great idea and concept... fun to play. I've stopped playing real money on it though as I hate their SNG blinds strucutre. It's a shame really. If they made the levels longer, the games would be less of a lottery.

Yeah, I enjoyed it. Played for several hours straight with play money and it is quite entertaining to see people use the whole emotions thing. I wish you couyld get pkr points without playing real money, though. And it is also a shame that it such a big program. I could not even access the site whilst playing. Still, nice concept. I hope to see you and beat you in there one day.

Which reminds me, can you search for people in there? I know my what the username of my friend is, but do you kn ow how I can use that to actually play him?

how does it work? How does one pay the buy-in?

I'm a bit confused cause im not used to the "terminology" in english + i've never really played real money on the internet.

So the following options have surfaced:

1) A buy-in tournament on PKR (maybe a $1 tourny?)

2) A freeroll on PKR or Full Tilt (like the last time)

3) A play money tournament (not sure if this is possible on one of the clients)

You put real money on your poker account through your bank account or Netteller/Moneybookers/etc or by winning some in freerolls. This money can then be used to pay for real money tournaments or cash games
