Subforums suck. All that clicking, and division. I mean, people find it tough enough to post in the right forum as it is, you think they're going to post in the right one if there are 100 sub forums in the Lounge? Plus it's stupid. I go to the SG Player's Lounge to check up on random crap, I don't know what I want to see, but I can usually tell if something's interesting by the title. I don't want to click on 5 sub forums.

Plus, there's no need to divide up the forums into subforums unless too many threads are being created and relatively new threads are onto the second page, which isn't happening now.

Also I love how at the beginning of this thread the first 3 or 4 people said EXACTLY the same thing. I mean, the second reply might as well have been a copy and paste job of the first.

Toughen up on pointless threads in the Player's forum, they really get annoying.

and maybe a rule for nOOb noy be able to start their own thread untill they have 100 posts if that's possible.

Here are few suggestions

* Overall all the forums are Excellent and going very well but at some places there is some problem. The users get off the track in a topic. The thread is started about something and after 6-7 posts it will be a totally different topic. These kind of threads makes the reader loose interest in the Forum

My suggestion is this that the Moderators should stop the users posting these kind of posts under topics. And if they are getting off the track, they should be told to keep to the topic and not discuss useless things.

*There are few threads which have gone too long, having 3-4 pages or around 80 replies and inside them there is nothing.

My opinion is: the Moderator should go through those kind of threads and delete those posts from those threads which have nothing to do with that topic over which that thread was started

* Since the theme of SG is Gaming, so I guess many people definitely come here for games. Re-ordering the Root Forums and bringing game section on top of soccer News Forum will definitely get the users wht they want. Users come here for game But at the same time it is bit risky as well because all the users are used to see the current order and maybe they don't accept this re-order.

Still, maybe it'll do us some good to re-arange the forums,
but a complete change in management might not be possible
although they are doing very well the way they are right now.

they are using vbulletin too but has a special feature called "Feature Store"..where u can earn credits by posting and all the stuff...by using that stuff..members can 'buy' custom titles or donor it to other members and many more!!!!...really cool:rolleyes: :rolleyes:
