So...Monaco lied to Wenger about Martial and Kondogbia

I think Barca and Madrid have proven that a two-horse league is the best for Europ performances. You have to perform on a consistent basis because your main competitor will not drop many points but you can rest your players before big matches because no one other than them really challenges you. Bayern reaches the CL final twice when BVB were on their level and have not done as well in the span of time since BVB declined. When the rest of the Prem was weak, the top 4 dominated Europe and since then too many clubs are at the top and the middle is too strong.

Monaco lied to Wenger about Martial, Kurzawa and Kondogbia

To put it short, Monaco (and apparently a lot of clubs) had no intention of dealing with Arsenal during the summer window. Wenger and Gazidis knew Kondogbia would be available but didn't know that Rybolovlev was already wrapping up the deal with Inter by the time they called them. And Monaco told Wenger that Martial would stay because they knew Arsenal wouldn't meet their asking price.

Is there some sort of collusion between clubs not wanting to do business with Arsenal? I get that clubs like Real Madrid, Atletico and Barcelona rarely do business with one another. Of course I know Real Madrid won't be doing any business with United anytime soon.

But without Martial Arsenal is doing well and will likely lift the EP league this season.
