This looks like the kind of movie that Paul Walker or Vin Diesel, not Samuel L. Carlos*son, should be starring in.

what are the chances that Samuel L. Carlos*son won't play a buggy-eyed loud mouth, like he does in everything else he's in.

he was cool in Pulp Fiction but he's gotta be one of the most overrated and one-dimensional actors out there. The fact that he's in this move doesn't make it the least bit more appealing, to me anyway..

Samuel L. Carlos*son is the most overratted director there ever was, is, and will be. Well, not really, but he's pretty crap.

What else can Sam do? He's typecast as the black mother****er. In much the same way that Gordon Freeman is given the black President role. And Will Smith is the black comedic, non-offensive role.

Besides, he does it well. If the movie needs a bit of style, Sam's in.

you mean Morgan Freeman? He's been given more than just 'the black President role'. He is a far greater actor than a lot of people.

Will Smith is not even on par with Sam. But Sam is not that great, he plays almost the same character in every film he is in. What's so stylistic about that?

well he's known as "The King of Cool" for a reason.

Yes he's a very one dimensional actor but he's good at what he does. He was godly in Pulp Fiction and he's been living off that role for the past 10 years.

Anyways there's actors much more one dimensional than him.
