i doubt it will be possible, we are modders not developers.

there was a mod for that on Fifa 2003. Search for flareZ fifa 2003, it was made by Fifakulte team. The source files were already included in the game. Apparently, EA removed them since few fifa versions.

I'd imagine that smoke and flares can really be quite demanding on a PC and could effect frame rate so they probably don't want them for that reason. It would be a quite nice addition though with an option to turn them on or off depending on the users preference.

It`s not about frames. Anytime, if something (game, part of a game, video performances) could and will force us to buy a better computer, EA and any developer will promote and introduce in their products. I think, it is about legislation, ESRB and some EU fair play recomandations !

I remember playing Turkey on Fifa12 in a Finale Cup, i was the away team and it had a flare and some smoke at the away tribune. But it looked pathetic and stopped when i was playing it was only at the entrance.

Yeh, turkish stadiums in FIFA 2003 were like hell . Unfortunately fires were prohibited and EA support this...
